This is the studio mix of the set I played at Rush Delivery 3: Meltdown on March 23rd 2013. The party was bonkers – 400+ ravers filled Fun Haven – an arcade/bumper car/lazer tag/bowling/jungle gym/etc/etc/etc complex with a big dancefloor and an even bigger sound and lights setup. Pascal and Eric put together one hell of a party, and I’m so happy I got to be a part of it :)

This one’s pretty high energy all the way through – it starts off with a couple heavy rollers, and then things get dark and techy for a bit. We move along into some big vocals, and then keep things dancefloor-oriented after that :) The set I played live ended at Represents by Brockie & Ed Solo – I tacked on the three last tunes for three different reasons – Bandwagon Blues for nostalgia’s sake and as natural follow-up to the previous bassline, 1 Up to meet a request I got from Joshua at the party (I hope it’s the right track!), and Come Back To Me because I really wanted to sneak it in mid-set but it just wasn’t working, and it’s an absolutely killer tune. A few personal highlights to watch out for: at 20:40, the “it’s it’s it’s — alright” blend; the overlap of the two Prototypes tunes from 29:05 to 30:30; the not-so-subtle remix switch at 37:51… drastic key changes are always fun; what happened to the dancefloor at the drop at 41:41; and the blend of 1 Up into Come Back To Me from 65:27 to 66:11 :)
